Q: I have brewed the beer in the brew bag for the 14 days specified in the instructions. How do I know if it is ready?

A: The easiest way is to try a small amount, if you are happy and provided you have followed the instructions the drink should be fine. However, as our beers are naturally conditioned without pasteurization or filtering, they may not always a gain comeplete clarity, instead they hold the natural goodness within the drink.

Q: If I wanted to add a flavour to the brew-bag – such as raspberry or honey – can I do this and if so when do I add it?

A: Any additions such as you describe are done at your own discretion, however to if you wish to try this, it should be done at the same time as you add the ‘Moondust’.

Q: I have made a batch of Moonshine beer, but I now have to go away, how long will it keep for?

A The beers will last for at least one month after the two week fermentation period. This is best achieved if the beer has been left in a relatively cool place after this time.

However if you want a longer period to drink your beers over, we recommend that you bottle it, once you are satisfied with the taste and clarity. This way the beers will last for months. Please leave as little an air gap at the top of the bottle as possible.
